Sophie Rado

Sophie's passion for Movement started from a young age with Classical Ballet, which developed over the years leading to a degree in Musical Theatre and professional work as a singer/ dancer in stage productions overseas in the U.K, U.S.A, Germany, Paris, NZ and onboard luxury cruise liners.

Sophie has more than 20 years of experience teaching movement, from starting out teaching children's dance and theatre classes from the young age of 16 to certifying with a Diploma in Yoga with her teacher Dr Pooja at Wellpark College in 2009. 

Now, a senior teacher in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Barre and Pilates Mat across prestigious studios and spaces in Auckland, NZ.

Sophie has long been fascinated by how stress affects people (herself included) and deepened her knowledge, studying various subjects in Nervous system health. Qualified with a Diploma in Psychology of stress management, Level 5 Anatomy and Physiology, Level 1 Peter Hess Sound Therapy and as a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. 

Sophie now offers a variety of holistic modalities, including Yoga/ Barre/ Pilates, group Sound Baths, individual Sound Massage, Reiki, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation to build awareness of the nervous system's vital part in our overall well-being. 

Sophie also hosts Candle Making workshops to share creativity and the art of crafting beautiful hand-poured soy wax candles.
